Glenna Jo Price
Glenna Jo paints in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. She also enjoys collage and mixed media, including pastel and colored pencils.
She lives and paints in the desert southwest. She has lived and traveled throughout the world, and her paintings are in numerous public and private collections including Hawaii, Japan and Mexico.
Glenna holds a bachelors degree in Art Education, with a major in Art. She has studied with several teachers, including the late Jan Herring, whom Glenna credits with inspiring her to become a painter.
She teaches part-time, and devotes the rest of her time to painting, and raising her third child, now a teen-ager. She is also a clothing consultant with CABI.
The artist's objective is to awaken a sense of wonder, and to create a cheerful, optimistic and joyful experience.
